About the Founder

Tom Klassen's story echo's the sentiments of a classic hollywood tale of success. A man that has constantly reinvented himself and defied the odds. The trials and tribulations on his wild ride is not dis-similar to the many drawn into the film industry, though Tom's is certainly unique.

Most recently, Tom is resurrecting his career after surviving a brain anueryism. His recovery though long and arduous, has been miraculous to say the least. Any lesser man would not be here with us today let alone excited to get back on the horse working with and mentoring talent again. Tom brings a wealth of wisdom back into this modern and rapidly changing industry. He expects to adapt and merge his legacy in a way that is classic yet contemporary with his approach to developing actors along with his team.

Bio

Tom Klassen, is a former ICM Agent (International Creative Management) in the LA office.

At ICM and its earlier incarnation, CMA (Creative Management Associates), Tom advanced quickly from the TV Department to Motion Pictures, then to Literary, and finally to Motion Picture Packaging, where he worked exclusively with the major clients of the agency. After finding success as an agent he chose to seek new challenges, entering the artistic arena himself, moving to England and attending the London Film School. When he returned to the States, he became a client of the agency he once worked for, ICM.

After several productive years as a writer and producer, Tom partnered with the late Bill Barnes out of ICM's New York office and formed their own successful talent management company. Their clients included, among others, Al Pacino, the Tennessee Williams Estate, Raquel Welch, Cole Hauser, Todd Field, Don Scardino, Valeria Golino, Don Barnhart (long time Saved By The Bell director), and composer Chris Young. When Bill passed away, Tom decided to take some time off to travel and pursue a documentary that was dear to him.

Becoming active in talent management again, Tom now focuses primarily on talent, literary management, composers and below the line. He also has formed a production company with client Riley Bodenstab.

Tom has an MBA from Harvard Business School, attended the London Film School, and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He is based in Los Angeles, but also works with clients in New York and London.

Today, Tom with his team of talented young associates remains open to working with new talent and looks forward to building the careers of the next generation of significant artists.
